Today I attended “selection day” for the Sydney Quilt Show 2008. I’m no longer Exhibition Secretary (no more gruelling data entry – Yay!) but I’m still involved in various aspects of organising the show including preparing the layout.
In the process, I’ve had a tantalising preview of some of the quilts that will be on display. My lips are sealed. All I can say is come and see for yourself!
The quilt show is slightly earlier this year and runs for five days from 11-15 June at Darling Harbour. Click on the Quilt Show button for more information. (You are welcome to put this button on your blog. Here is the code.)
The Canberra Quilt Show is coming up in August. To be eligible to enter, you must be a financial member as at 31 March. You can download membership forms from the CQ website and links to the various components of the CQ Exhibition Pack can be found on Connecting- the Canberra Quilters Blog. The CQ Blog also has information about other exhibition opportunities so do take a look.
By the way, I’ve recently performed a mini-makeover on the CQ blog (on a voluntary basis) so that it coordinates better with the CQ website and contains more information in the sidebar. Read more about my Blog Mini Makeover Services.
