Spring Wattle
When I submitted my Acacia Bloom quilt to the Canberra Quilters’ Exhibition, little did I know what a truly contemporary quilt it would turn out to be. Driving down to Canberra, the Hume Highway was a yellow blaze of wattle flower. It was a similar story in the capital itself.
