The show opens today 19 June in conjuction with the Craft & Quilt Fair at the Exhibition Centre at Darling Harbour and runs until Sunday 23 June, 9am-4pm daily. I am presenting a floor talk each day at 11am and you will also find me in the QuiltNSW Activity Centre from 1-3pm on Friday and Sunday. Do stop by and say hello!
Celebrating 15 Years
At its heart, the Sydney Quilt Show is a members’ exhibition providing an opportunity for members to share their quilts. I am delighted to be celebrating 15 years of participating in this passion-infused event.
In 2004, I entered the Sydney Quilt Show for the first time with my hand-pieced, abstract work Sydney Jacaranda Harbour.
Fast forward 15 years and I am still driven by abstraction. It is a persistent and insistent force in my creative practice. My special exhibit features a selection of my abstract artwork including my Twelve by Twelve Theme Series (2007-2009) and my 2018 Monthly Art Project Taking Shape: Cues from Nature. Here’s a peek from set up day:

To celebrate my special exhibit at the Sydney Quilt Show 2019, I am holding an online sale of my 40x40cm and 50x50cm textile paintings. All prices include shipping anywhere in the world. Sale ends 30 June 2019.
