Weekly Art Project: Week 6

26 October 2016 Filed Under: My Surroundings, Weekly Art Project

I am already up to Week 6 of my Weekly Art Project.  This week brought a couple of false starts as I got bogged down in some complex piecing while translating some design ideas.  Way too fiddly at a 6×6 scale! To get myself back on track, I went for a walk to clear my head.  At the top of the “stairmaster“, there is a stand of crooked banksia trees that provided inspiration for a study in simple lines.

Great little quilt! It was worth getting bogged down first. 😉

I really like this one, especially what you did with the quilted lines.

Love the simplicity of this one Brenda. You make me want to sort through my photos for a picture of birch trees.
i have tried to post for week 7 but can’t seem to get to the right place.
