Iconic gum nuts are the inspiration for week 5 of my abstract art project. Here’s a bunch that I found on my morning walk:
I found it challenging to reduce the curvaceous form of the nut to its essential elements and to come up with a composition to fit the 6x6in dimensions without getting too fiddly. Remember, I am piecing, not fusing.
