It’s more than 10 years since my brother helped me set up my first website so that I could share my latest quilting creations. These days it is easier than ever to establish an online presence with blogging and social media tools. It gives me great pleasure to assist others in this endeavour.
My latest website design project is for Rasa Mauragis, a contemporary textile artist from the Snowy Mountains in south western New South Wales. In addition to creating quilts, Rasa dyes beautiful silk scarves using fibre reactive dyes and natural plant materials. We invite you to check out her new website and blog at www.rasamauragis.com
Like this blog, Rasa’s website was designed using Prose*, a mobile responsive WordPress premium theme on the Genesis Framework* with point-and-click design controls that allow you to customise and style your site without coding. WordPress is a powerful content management system and Rasa will be able to maintain and update her website, including her portfolio pages, in her own time.
If you have been thinking about setting up a website but are not sure where to start, why not take a look at my website design and development services and contact me to discuss your website needs.

Do you do websites with e-shops or e-commerce?

Brenda Gael Smith says
Hi Anne Marie – I build small e-commerce sites using PayPal and/or WordPress shopping cart plug ins. I do not take on larger e-commerce assignments that tend to require full-time, on-call support for the myriad of complex technical and design issues that arise in dealing with different products quantities, taxes, shipping etc as this is beyond my freelance resources.
