The opening of the Beneath the Southern Sky exhibition at The Q Exhibition Space in Queanbeyan was a resounding success. Here are some before and after photos. There are more photos the Beneath the Southern Sky Facebook page.
Big thanks go to:
- Brother International Australia for their ongoing support;
- Georgina Perri and Queanbeyan City Council for providing such a splendid gallery space free of charge;
- the Laundry King who made hanging rods and played chauffeur and curatorial assistant to help make it happen;
- local BTSS artists Dianne Firth and Helen Godden who attended the opening along with the enthusiastic contingent from Queanbeyan Quilters who adjusted the start time of their Christmas party; and
- everyone else that joined the festivities.
The exhibition continues until 18 December 2012. Gallery hours: Monday-Friday 10am-4pm; Saturday 10am-3pm; closed Sunday.

That is the perfect space for the exhibit! Or maybe that is the perfect exhibit for the space. It all looks so gorgeous together. (I have exhibit space envy right now.) Nice job.
