Christmas Elves

24 December 2008 Filed Under: Celebrations 2 Comments

Elf Napkins The Christmas elves are busy here at Casa da Praia. Cooking, cleaning, pulling out the Christmas CDs and DVDs and generally getting into the festive spirit. Then this elf is going to take a short blogging holiday. I’ll be back on 1 January. In the meantime, peace and goodwill to all.

I invite you to SIGN UP to the SERENDIPITY STUDIO NEWSLETTER for information on my latest quilt designs, teaching schedule, upcoming exhibitions, images of my contemporary quilts and other quilting news:

PS: We’ve been making these paper napkin elf shoes for years in my family. Click the image below for a Elf Shoe Napkin Tutorial (200KB PDF).

My first full day in Marrakech was completed by a 3 hour food tour. A multi-sensory experience meandering through the medina. And, yes, I did get a teensy bit lost making my way back to the riad afterwards… @moroccanfoodadventures
