I had a wonderful weekend in Canberra. What a delight to attend a quilt show as a relaxed and carefree (ie non-organising) participant! My first priority was to look at the quilts. In addition to Crop Circles getting another outing, I was thrilled to see that Jenny Houston and Jenny White exhibited their quilts that they started in workshops with me last November:
Later in the afternoon, I spent a couple of hours demonstrating machine quilting on the Canberra Quilters’ “Quilts for Others” stand. It was great to talk to the visitors to the show and to answer their quilting questions. My weekend may not quite compare with Helen’s OQD (Obsessive Quilting Disorder) tales from Paris but it’s enough to start me humming Zippity Doo Dah again!

Hi Brenda
What a surprise to see my quilt on your blog. It usually hangs in my lounge room above the couch (the other way round though). I enjoyed doing your class last year and playing around with colour.
I read your blog most days and love seeing your new work.
