Impulsive is not an adjective that usually applies to me but it does today. As I was scrolling through my blog list this morning, I noticed that Sharon B’s Sumptuous Surfaces online course begins on 11 July and I signed up on the spot! I don’t think this means that I am about to turn into an embellisher extraordinaire but I would like to expand my needlework repertoire and Sharon’s course outline looks thoughtful and well-structured.
Have you ever done an online, craft-related course and did you enjoy the experience?

I am just finishing up the joggles Mixed media class. It’s my third class at joggles – I’ve enjoyed all of them! You’ll have a great time.

I took Sharon’s embellished crazy quilting class earlier this spring through Joggles and enjoyed it immensely. She is an _excellent_ teacher.

I love doing online courses …. you don’t have to drag lots of supplies out elsewhere and you can do them at your own pace! I’ve done a few with Quilt University and also Personal Symbols at Joggles with Susan Sorrell. I don’t do much handstitching or I’d definitely take this one. I find you have to try and schedule each lesson each week so you take the time to do it, otherwise I find time slips by and suddenly you’re a week or two behind … the forums help in this too. Blogging about what I was doing helped keep me going too … be sure to keep us posted on your progress!
