Serendipity Workshops at Grampian Textures 2017

8 July 2016 Filed Under: Contemporary Quilts, Teaching

Textile retreats are a fantastic way to make new friends and develop new skills and I am excited to be part of the tutor team for Grampian Textures 2017 at Halls Gap in the Grampians National Park, Western Victoria from 18-23 March 2017. (I’ve never been to this part of the country but I hear it is stunning!) Grampians Textures 2017 offers a diverse workshop program led by Australian and international textile tutors. Workshops are suitable for beginners to experienced artists.

Grampian Textures 2017In my two workshops, we will be exploring the creative possibilities of Serendipity Circles (2 days) and Lines of Beauty (4 days).  No rulers, patterns or templates – all you need is colour and fabric, a sharp rotary cutter, a sewing machine and a sense of adventure.  I am especially excited to see how the design walls are transformed over a four day class rather than the usual shorter classes.serendipitycirclespromo-Grampians

Bookings are now open and there is an early bird discount if you pay in full by 1 December 2016.  See the Grampians Textures 2017 booking page for more information.
