Those of you following my blog on 21 and 22 December will be aware of the sad tale of my gift order from Kodak (US) that did not arrive in time for Christmas. Well, I am afraid to say that my replacement order has also disappeared into the ether and is officially lost. By using the magic words “customer service representative” (albeit three times!) I managed to bypass the automated voice system and talk to a real person and agreed to reorder again, this time using a street address rather than my post office box but clearly there is something very awry with Kodak’s distribution channels to Australia. Hopefully there will be a happy ending to this consumer tale. (And maybe I need to add a new category to my listing!)
Today I got back to the sewing machine making samples for a magazine project and then starting to quilt this small piece (click to enlarge):
I have promised to make a baby quilt and may well try something similar on a larger scale.
