The 2011 Australasian Quilt Convention opens tomorrow. My new quilt Desire Lines #7: Lust in the Log Cabin was selected as a finalist in the AP&Q AQC Challenge – Seven Deadlly Sins:
Things are getting hot and steamy in this log cabin! The seven lines in the central panel represent the seven deadly sins while the five lines in the smaller blocks refer to the 5th deadly sin – lust. Even the backing fabric has apples on it harking back to the original sin in the Garden of Eden.
