As you will have worked out, I made at least three window-themed quilts for the latest Twelve by Twelve challenge but only one could go forward.rosewatereye
After much deliberation, and a little viewer testing at Quilt Camp, I selected Introspection as my official window work but Rose Moderne, a variation of a rose window, was a close second:

I would probably still be wavering but I had to prepare this post before departing for New Zealand. Which piece would you have selected? (Comment moderation is enabled but I will be checking e-mails later today.)

  1. Hi Brenda - I was intrigued by all but I absolutely loved the middle one - looking out at the ocean.
BTW - how did you do the veins in Introspection?

  2. The eye blood vessels are simply machine quilted with red thread. They look quite tree-like and I’m keen to use the motif again.

  3. They re all stunning, Brenda……… I wouldn’t have been able to choose one, I am torn between Introspection and Rose Moderne.
