There’s very little quilting going on here as I focus on getting other things out of the way. For reasons that I won’t bore you with, I am now on the lookout for some free FTP (File Transfer Protcol) software that is used for uploading images and other files onto website servers. It’s been a while since I last looked for such a product and it seems like some of my old faves now only come with a 30 day trial rather than an ongoing freeware licence. If you are using a current FTP freeware product and find it easy to use, let me know the details.

I use SmartFTP – if you do a search on downloads.com you should find it easily. It is 30 days for commercial – but freeware for personal use.

If you use Firefox as your browser, I recommend FireFTP http://fireftp.mozdev.org/

Thanks for your recommendations Kim and Melissa. I do use Firefox and FireFTP is ideal for the purposes of this particular project.

Hi Brenda
I’ve been using WS FTP for years and have long since bought the Pro version. You can right click on your file and select upload using the wsftp wizard and off it goes!
Have fun!
