TWELVE BY TWELVE-the BOOK available NOW!

The BOOK Twelve by Twelve:The International Art Quilt Challenge is available now from a range of suppliers including Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Minerva (NZ) and Can Do Books (Australia). With 176 pages, it is packed full of photos, insights and inspiration and is great value.

If you live in Australia, I hope you can join me for these Twelve by Twelve events and purchase an autographed copy:

If you happen to be in the UK, or have quilting friends there, don't miss the Twelve by Twelve exhibition of the Theme series at the Festival of Quilts (11-14 August) with Diane, Helen and Françoise in attendance.

And BOTH the Theme Series and the Colourplay series, that's 288 quilts!, will be on display at the International Quilt Market, Houston, USA (trade show only - not open to the general public) International Quilt Festival, Houston 3-6 November. Best of all, eleven of the Twelves will be there too. I have goosebumps thinking of this.

PS: The next Colourplay reveal is GRAY on 12 July. Check out the Twelve by Twelve Blog!

AP&Q AQC Challenge: Seven Deadly Sins

Lust in the Log Cabin

My art quilt Desire Lines #7:Lust in the Log Cabin was selected as a finalist in the AP&Q AQC Challenge: Seven Deadly Sins.

Things are getting hot and steamy in this log cabin! The seven lines in the central panel represent the seven deadly sins while the five lines in the smaller blocks refer to the 5th deadly sin - lust. Even the backing fabric has apples on it harking back to the original sin in the Garden of Eden.

This exhibition is touring Australia and New Zealand with the Craft & Quilt Fair as follows: 28 - 31 July - Melbourne; 11-14 August - Canberra; 8-11 September - Hamilton New Zealand; 19-23 October - Brisbane; and 3-6 November 2011 - Adelaide. You can view this exhibition online but it's even better in real life!

Stepping Out in Glorious Colour

In case you missed it, the current issue of Quilters Companion features my project Stepping Out (pictured right) which was inspired by Victorian floor tiles.

And, coming up in Down Under Quilts Issue 149 you will find Melody 33, an energising "Power Stripping" design that is a great project for jelly rolls, designer strip sets or using up your scraps and stash.

My full range of Serendipity Quilt Patterns is available on my website together with my Serendipity Patchwork & Quilting Workshops Brochure

PLUS there's lots of FREE STUFF on my blog!
