The New Quilt 2006

27 January 2006 Filed Under: Inspiration 1 Comment

Last night I attended the opening of The New Quilt 2006 – contemporary quilt textiles exhibition presented by The Quilters’ Guild of NSW Inc and Manly Art Gallery & Museum. It was one of those sublime Sydney evenings where the summer warmth envelopes you and this experience was only enhanced by viewing the diverse range […]

March 2009 Update: This quilt is made from a pattern from the February 2004 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting by Jean Wells. I thought I was pretty smart setting up my own website without having to know too much about html but now I guess I have to bite the bullet. Anyway, here’s a […]

My first full day in Marrakech was completed by a 3 hour food tour. A multi-sensory experience meandering through the medina. And, yes, I did get a teensy bit lost making my way back to the riad afterwards… @moroccanfoodadventures

My short time in Marrakech began with pouring rain and ended with a glorious sunset from a rooftop bar overlooking Koutoubia mosque against a backdrop of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. 🌴🌅
