Make your own Melody in 2022!
Join me on Zoom at 10am Monday 17 January (that’s Sunday afternoon/evening in North America) where I will share some design and construction tips for my free Melody 33 quilt pattern and we can talk about the joys of power-stripping.
There will also be an opportunity for you to share YOUR melody whether planned, under construction or complete.

Power-Stripping Preparations
To make the Melody 33 design, you will need 33 selvedge-to-selvedge strips that are 2 1/2in wide or the equivalent. For maximum power-stripping efficiency, if cutting strips from fat quarters or scraps, aim to get strips that are at least 20cm long. You will need 17 dark strips and 16 lights strips.
I have had fun revisiting my stash and cutting these strips to create a new melody. I hope you will join me.
