Petite Miniature Textiles 2020 opens today at Wangaratta Art Gallery and continues on exhibition until 16 August 2020. Two of my works from my 2019 monthly art project are part of the exhibition: Allagai: High Summer and Allagai: Suspended Kelp. These pandemic times are challenging for the arts sector and I am grateful to the curatorial team for their commitment in honouring artists who submitted their entries back in March. I value this opportunity to share my artwork in the cloth. These works depict the view from my studio overlooking Allagai Bay, Copacabana, NSW.
Interactive Catalogue
To celebrate the 2020 exhibition, Wangaratta Art Gallery has released an interactive online catalogue to showcase the 52 selected works. It is an important archive recording this year’s event, recording this unique time in history due to the COVID restrictions. Importantly, it also means that you can view the exhibition even if you cannot attend the gallery in person.
Each of my works is for sale for A$180. Contact Wangaratta Art Gallery if you would like to make a purchase.

10th Anniversary
This is the 10th anniversary of Petite Miniature Textiles. I am honoured that my artwork has featured in all five previous exhibitions. Here is an overview. Also, my work High Country Lupins #2 was purchased for the gallery’s collection in 2014.

I recall when this exhibition opportunity first stated & was disappointed not to be able to see the exhibits. It’s wonderful these days to see a catalogue when you have no chance of attending. Wonderful selection of pieces.
