Victorian Quilters had a big program this weekend. They turned their AGM into a mini winter festival. In addition to meeting formalitues, my consciousness-raising presentation on Copyright & Quilting in the 21st Century, Corliss from Threadbear in Castlemaine shared a selection of her personal quilts and there was a bounty of door prizes. And, of course, lots of talking and catching up. Thank you to everyone who said hello!
On Sunday, a group of us gathered for Serendipity Circles. The focus of this liberating, low-stress workshop is improvisational circles using fusing or pinless, curved piecing techniques – or both.
I am next teaching this class at European Patchwork Meeting in France on 20 September and Hobbysew, Top Ryde, Sydney on 7 November.
