The gallery is a U shape so viewers can take in all the works in one continuous sweeping gaze. As curator, I have two works on the external walls. Pohutukawa Taonga ties in with the Beneath the Southern Sky theme and reflects on my upbringing in New Zealand (read more about the evolution of this work):
Dreamlines #1: Magic Carpet is part of a promotion of the next travelling textile art exhibition that I am curating for 2014/2015 – Living Colour!
Read all about it in the Living Colour! Call for Entries. International entries are welcome. The closing date is 31 January 2014.
