I am currently on a teaching trip to Emerald, Queensland. The Emerald Art Group has a varied workshop program in all kinds of media and invited me to share a little Shibori Serendipity and improvisational piecing.
We enjoyed perfect conditions for dyeing. Here is a selection of student work. More images are in the Serendipity Student Gallery
By the way, Emerald, once a sunflower growing region, has an enormous Van Gogh on the easel in one of its parks. Australia loves its “big things”!
