THANK YOU! to everyone who stopped by my guest artist stand at the Craft & Sewing Shows in Sydney, Auckland and Brisbane and/or attended my Beneath the Southern Sky curator floor talks at the same events. Your enthusiasm and interest has made the whole experience a lot of fun for me and I hope you have added some new techniques and ideas to your experimental creative repertoire.

I’m back at Copacabana for a few days before I go exploring with family from overseas. I plan on putting my feet up for some of the time. The [self-inflicted] injury I sustained on the eve of the Brisbane show hasn’t caused me much pain or discomfort but the bruise is developing nicely. It’s not quite technicolour but it’s getting there:

Your fabrics look great and that’s a really impressive bruise you have there.

Sorry to here you are wearing compulsory extraordinary-colour and I hope you return to your usual colourful state soon. Kind regards, Pamela.

It was wonderful to meet you in Auckland, and thank you so much for being so generous with all your artistic knowledge! You did a wonderful job of the Beneath the Southern Sky floortalk and exhibition. Also congratulations to all the amazing artists, the quilts were stunning. Hope you can get enough time out to heal your ankle. Regards, Maree
