This afternoon I set up my studio demonstration space at the Craft & Sewing Show at Rosehill Gardens, Sydney. I wasn’t sure how much wall space I would have but it turns out that I had enough quilts to make for a colourful display. Tomorrow the funs begins at 10 am and keeps on going until 4.30pm.
If you are attending the show in person, please come and say hello. Despite studying the map, I got a little disoriented when I got to Rosehill Gardens today so here’s a tip…if you are facing the race course as you come into the main entry, Pavillion B is on your LEFT. Pavillion B is where you will find me and the Beneath the Southern Sky exhibition. And my curator’s floor talk is at 12.30pm daily.

The look of this exhibition of “Beneath the Southern Sky” is quite wonderful; enough space between the pieces and the consistency of shape and size of the exhibited work is truly attractive and inviting the viewer to come and take a closer look.
Thanks for this chance to “peek”….

You are going to be a busy lady Brenda. Hope you can also put your feet up in between times.

Both your setup and the show look WONDERFUL! I really love the layout of those tall skinny quilts, and I’ll bet you had a blast doing dyeing demos!
