Recently the people of New Zealand have experienced national grief with the Christchurch earthquakes and the Pike River Mine tragedy. Like the pohutukawa trees that cling to the New Zealand coast, we will weather this and bloom again
I have donated this12x12in quilt to the 2011 SAQA Benefit Auction (assuming it arrives in time for the 2 July deadline). It’s a monoprint with beaded detail.

AAQI is a great cause and refers to the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative.
My quilt is for the 2011 SAQA Benefit Auction and is a fundraiser to support exhibitions, catalogues and outreach programs.
