A while ago, I conducted some on-blog research about professional printing services for business cards and other promotional stationery. In addition to ordering some fabulous mini business cards from www.moo.com, I ordered some business cards from www.vistaprint.com.au along with some notecards.
Despite ordering from an Australian website, the Vistaprint parcel arrived from overseas last week. The business cards are basic and unexceptional quality:
The colour is a little dull and I would have preferred a plastic/gloss finish similar to the mini-cards but they do the job. However, I was quite disappointed in the notecards. The paperstock was not great quality and, thanks to inadequate packaging, the corners got bumped, buckled and crushed in transit. I could be an assertive consumer and make a complaint but I can’t be bothered. Instead, next time I will order my notecards from moo and recommend that you do too. (I should have listened to my sister, Chantel.)
PS: Another advantage of moo is that they allow you to use different images in a single order whereas Vistaprint require you to order your notecards in minimum multiples of ten of a single image.
