When artwork goes on tour without you, it takes on a dream-like quality. You wonder if it really happened! I am very grateful to Councillor Carly Brown, volunteer coordinator at Grenfell Art Gallery who sent me some photos of Dreaming in Colour and Living Colour (see photos) both currently on exhibition.
The double exhibition continues until 20 December 2014. Gallery hours: Tuesday – Friday 10am-4pm and Saturday: 9.30am-12pm.
Grenfell Art Gallery is calling for expressions of interest from individuals and groups of artists for 2015 exhibitions. See Arts OutWest for further information. EoIs close on 22 December 2015.
Grenfell Art Gallery is the community gallery of Weddin Shire in a modern, well equipped space. The large light towers in the gallery mean the room is full of natural light, enhanced by good lighting and exhibition systems. The gallery is staffed by volunteers and is open 5 days a week (Tuesday-Saturday). Exhibitions feature local and regional artists….Exhibition spaces of 4-6 weeks are available for individual artists or groups of artists with complete exhibitions. Works can be for sale (the gallery takes 20% commission).

All the quilts look wonderful. Love the colours you have used in your quilts!

Great photos, although the gallery doesn’t look as light in the photos as I remember it being in person. Love all the colours in both exhibitions and if ever I won the Lotto I would be in the market to buy several.
