In September 2014, Carrefour Européen du Patchwork/European Patchwork Meeting celebrates its 20th anniversary in Alsace, France. Australia is guest country of honour from outside Europe and I am curating a special invitational exhibit of 30-45 “exceptional quilts from the great Southern land” ranging from traditional quilts to contemporary textile art.
In addition, my work features in the Twelve by Twelve Colourplay exhibition and I am teaching two workshops:
- Stacks of Improvisation – 19 September 2014
- Serendipity Circles – 20 September 2014
Registration for classes is open now. There is also a call for entries for the European Patchwork Meeting International Contest – Imagine. Entries close on 26 June 2014.
I look forward to meeting some of my European readers and sharing some great Australian quilts. Let me know if you are going to be at Carrefour Européen du Patchwork/European Patchwork Meeting.

How exciting Nic! Depending on where you are based, you might like to check out Festival of Quilts in Birmingham in August too.

So many exciting things to investigate… I’ll be in Copenhagen, but everywhere in Europe is relatively accessible (compared to Australia =))
