Stitches in Time

While home for the holidays, I came across this very early stitching effort. It was from Primer One with Mrs K at Wellsford Primary School which makes it over (ahem) forty years old. Admittedly it hasn’t been used much as an oven cloth but it’s holding up pretty well:
I stitched these embroideries in my early teens and recently Mum crocheted the lace edging for me so they are finally finished. I never could get the hang of crochet but there’s always time to learn new things in 2013. Wishing everyone a creative New Year.
