It was a busy day in the Serendipity Studio at the Craft and Sewing Show in Melbourne yesterday. Here are some results from the dyeing session. The luscious purples and plums for the start of the colour wheel fabrics:
This is my last show as 2012 Guest Artist and, not surprisingly, my stash of rainbow and Shibori samples has accumulated along the way. If you would like to share in this colourful bounty, I invite you to leave a comment below or on the Serendipity Patchwork & Quilting Facebook Page. . Let me know what your favourite colour is and your name will go into a draw to win a selection of hand dyed fabrics.. DRAW CLOSED

It is hard to pick a favorite but I know I have more blue than any other color in my stash! Your fabric is so lovely.

Purple has been my firm favourite for many years. I love the way you have graded the purple through to aqua. Actually, I find all of the colours in your beautiful range inspiring and I usually shy away from anything anywhere near “orange”.
I really enjoy reading the blogs about your 12×12 adventures. It was a privilege to see the display at the Quilt & Craft Fair.

Aqua! I love ALL colours, but aqua in all its various states has appealed to me since I was a child with my very first set of colour pencils. ๐

The greens are my favorite. The brighter the better!

We really enjoyed the demonstration today, thanks. My favourite would be the oranges, especially if there is any purple associated with it.

All these colours are gorgeous – but if I have to choose one it would be the orange. I am looking to dye some of my own – thank you for all your inspiration and tips. Dianna
