Melanie Testa has issued a challenge to herself:
Create line on the 5.5×5.5″ block in no more than 15 minutes (less is OK), each day for 30 days. Post a picture with commentary (or without, the picture is the important part) each day. At the end of the 30 day period I will reassess and see if I need to make more blocks or make something out of the blocks.
I think Line is underrated but beautiful. Line is choppy, straight, broken, dotted, strong, vague, inconsistent, consistent, connected. I would like to see what I come up with, how the project itself affects me.
She invites others to join her and I’ve been enjoying posts by Kristin, Deborah and Robin. There’s also a 30 Lines in 30 Days Flickr group. I’ve passed on the challenge but I love a good line.
