Today’s mail brought me a copy of Issue 38 of Quilters Companion magazine which features my project Kaffe Tapestry:

Kaffe Tapestry is a popular design in the series of quilts I’ve developed for my Power Stripping workshop - designs that grow quickly with minimum fuss and maximum fabric economy using strips cut across the width of the fabric. Perfect for jelly rolls! This quilt is 90×90inches but can easily be made smaller by eliminating some rows and columns. I had great fun quilting the whimsical scroll vines following a technique outlined by Patsy Thomspon on her DVD Free Motion Fun with Vines & Leaves Volume 2.

Congratulations!

I love the simplicity of the design. It’s ideal to display beautiful fabrics to advantage.
Your quilting adds another delight for the eyes!

Brenda,
Looking forward to the arrival of my Quilter’s Companion. The colours in ‘Kaffe”s Tapestry” are so beautifully blended.
