Pioussay is a small hamlet about 3 kilometres from where we are staying. I’ve made the hike to the church twice now. It’s worth it to see the 15th century frescos and the cosmos flowers en route, not to mention to work off a little of all that great fromage…

  1. Hi! Brenda,

What a beautiful little church, it struck me that the picture looking directly at the Altar with the gorgeous frescos and the colour in the stained glass reflect the colours third picture of the cosmos.

  2. So beautiful! And I agree with Brenda on the colours. It made me wonder if the cosmos had been growing there year after year; did they inspire the original artist? Probably the colors in the church were once a little different though, or at least brighter.
