Thanks for displaying the pictures of these beautiful works – added a lovely bright spot to a routine work day. My family and I visited the UK in September/October 2005 and saw an exhibition of similiar works at Kew Gardens. I didn’t write down the artist’s name and, of course, can’t remember it. Perhaps it was the same person but I’m not knowledgeable enough to know. I do just remember how stunning they were. Thank you for sharing these and about your trip. Cheers
Isn’t Chihuly amazing?? He lives here in the Pacific Northwest and has a “Museum of Glass” in Tacoma, Washington. (By the way, it was Chihuly who had an exhibition in Kew Gardens.) His work inspires me to want to put more color and light in everything. Glad you got to see and and that you enjoyed it. He’s got an incredible website, too!
