I admit that I am easily pleased by very small things. Right now I’m feeling pretty chuffed that I worked out how to change my blog settings so that the time of posting shows up in both the posts and comments sections. It wasn’t hard to do but it did involve traversing unfamiliar territory and a little trial and error. What was the most recent thing (blogging, quilting or otherwise) that you worked out how to do?

Today I learnt a new technique to knit a heel in a sock. Yipee! My short rowed heels always looked terrible and today I figured out a way to tightened it up and now it looks good. I wonder if I can do it again?

I learned how to create buttons for a website. Ok, so I found some free software on the net and used it to create gifs — but still. I also learned how to use Dreamweaver 8.

I learned: how to change the flash output and exposure settings on my digital camera! More importantly – I learned why I might want to do those things and when to do them. Yay!
